TERMS & CONDITIONS

  • Cancellations received forty-eight (48) hours or more in advance of pick-up time will receive a full refund minus a $150 + GST cancellation fee.

Charter Transportation — Cancellation Policy

  • No refunds for cancellations received under 48 hours prior to pick-up.

  • In the event of a flight delay, drivers will wait for 30 minutes for no additional charge. Delays beyond 30 minutes from the requested pick-up time, will be billed at $100/hour plus 5% GST in 15-minute increments.

  • Simply Kimberley / Resort Tours will not be responsible for delays caused by road conditions, weather, or other conditions within or beyond the carrier’s control. Cancellation Insurance or Trip Interruption Insurance is strongly advised due to the nature of mountainous travel. Alcohol consumption is not permitted on our vehicles. 

Charter Transportation — Operating Policy

  • Standby rates are billed at the equivalent charter rate as our vehicle is taken out of operation during stand-by time.

  • For departure flights, travellers must be ready 10 minutes prior to the scheduled pickup time.

  • YXC Arrivals: Simply Kimberley / Resort Tours will meet clients at the arrival doors of the Canadian Rockies International Airport. Our branded shuttle will be parked out front of arrivals and the driver will be inside awaiting confirmed passengers.

  • YYC Arrivals: Simply Kimberley / Resort Tours will organize a curbside pick-up and will need to contact clients via mobile, WhatsApp, or email to confirm the exact curbside pick-up location (door no.) once the luggage is collected.

  • We cross at the Roosville Border Crossing between Eureka, Montana, and Grasmere, B.C.

  • It is solely our client’s responsibility to ensure they are admissible to Canada or to the USA.

Border Crossing — Operating Policy

  • A fifty percent (50%) deposit is required to confirm with full payment due seven (7) days prior to service.

Charter Transportation — To Confirm

  • We work off of a three-hour minimum. The hourly rate starts from the time of departure from our base in Kimberley, BC and ends at the time of return to Kimberley. 

Charter Transportation — Billing Policy

  • Additional hours beyond expected charter timing are billed in 30-minute increments.

  • The full-day rate is based on a 10-hour day from the time of departure from our base to the time of return to our base. The half-day rate is based on a 5-hour charter. Additional hours will be billed at the vehicle’s respective hourly rate ($175-$250/hour) up to the federally regulated 13 hours maximum drive time, in a 16-hour work shift.

  • Last-minute changes (under 24 hours prior to pick up) will be billed at the vehicle’s respective hourly rate ($175-$250/hour).

  • Early morning pick-up requests (before 6AM) and late-night pick-up requests (after 8PM) are charged a minimum of $50 surcharge for out-of-business hours operations. 

  • Forgotten items will be held onto for two calendar months. Any requests to mail these items back will be applied a $20 service fee plus mailing costs. 

  • For USA arrivals, departures or private aviation, including YXC airside pick-ups, all billing is in USD at the stated Charter Transportation rates. This is to compensate for the additional liability and insurance associated with going airside and operating in the USA.

  • Simply Kimberley / Resort Tours automatically adds an additional charge of 15% for all charter transportation. This surcharge charge includes fuel premium, driver appreciation and our rural operations.  

  • Late-night safe shuttles (after 10p) are charged a $25/hour premium to incentivize and fairly  compensate our drivers.

Charter Transportation — Surcharge Policy

  • YYC Airport pick-up fees may be applicable and will be communicated in your quote.

  • For charters requiring the use of our enclosed cargo trailer, an additional charge may be applicable and communicated in your quote.
